Our Programs
Holistic Growth and Development Mwanzo Bora (Ages 0–5)
Mwanzo Bora is our early childhood development program tailored to support children with disabilities from birth to age five. We focus on empowering parents and guardians with practical skills, knowledge, and resources to provide a nurturing and responsive home environment. Through caregiver coaching, early developmental screenings, play-based learning, and inclusive care strategies, we help lay a strong foundation for cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth. The program prioritizes early intervention and builds supportive home and community ecosystems where children can thrive. By strengthening parenting capacity, reducing stigma, and fostering inclusion at an early age, Mwanzo Bora ensures that every child regardless of ability has the opportunity to begin life with dignity, support, and hope.

Inclusive Basic Education – Elimika (Ages 6–18)
Elimika is our inclusive education program designed to support children and adolescents with disabilities between the ages of 6 and 18. Our approach focuses on removing barriers to learning by working with schools, families, and communities to create accessible and inclusive learning environments. This includes supporting early identification and assessment of learners, facilitating referrals, training teachers on inclusive practices, and advocating for adaptive materials and infrastructure. We champion the right of every child to access quality education that meets their unique needs and empowers them to succeed.
Inclusive Skills Training & Employment – Niwezeshe (Ages 18–35)
Niwezeshe empowers youth with disabilities aged 18 to 35 by equipping them with market-relevant skills for meaningful employment and entrepreneurship. We offer career guidance, mentorship, soft skills development, and access to vocational training institutions that embrace inclusive learning. The program also supports job placements, workplace readiness, and startup incubation, helping young people build sustainable livelihoods. We collaborate with employers, training centers, and industry players to promote disability-inclusive hiring practices and workplace accessibility.

Inclusive Health & Wellness – Universal (All Ages)
Universal is our cross-cutting health and wellness program serving individuals with disabilities across all age groups. We advocate for inclusive, person-centered healthcare services that go beyond treatment to address prevention, mental health, rehabilitation, and quality of life. Through community health education, disability-sensitive training for health workers, and partnerships with local clinics, we bridge the gap between disability and health access. The program also provides referrals, psychosocial support, assistive technologies, and awareness campaigns to reduce stigma and promote healthy lifestyles.
